At present, The Bernhardt Consulting Group is solely owned and operated by Tibi(pronounced Tibee). Tibi has nearly 20 years of experience in information technology/information security, technology risk, and technology compliance nationally in the USA and internationally in Europe and Asia. Tibi’s IT experience began with a financial institution supporting their token ring business information network. That’s to say that his career commenced in concert with the first uses of business information networking supported by local area network(LAN) technology that preceded today’s dominant ethernet technology. Throughout his career he’s held roles such as help desk analyst, network administrator, cyber incident response team(CIRT) manager, SAP security team manager, and technology consultant. During his 24/7 time spent as the T-Mobile CIRT manager, he often worked with digital forensic investigators, the FBI, CIA, and the Department of Homeland Security. Most recently he worked for an entity considered to be a global leader in the realm of information security and data privacy compliance. In doing so, he helped entities manage risk and achieve compliance. Two BA’s from accredited universities compliment his skills and abilities; a Management Information Systems(MIS) BA focused on systems analysis and design, and a BA in English Literature groomed him to analyze language and context for efficient problem-solving and to be an above average communicator.
